A.m. Boyd

A.M. Boyd is a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, Riverside, focusing on the transcriptional and metabolic analysis of oomycetes through computational and bioinformatic methodologies since September 2016. Responsibilities include analyzing multi-omic data and developing automated analysis pipelines using programming languages such as bash, python, and R. Boyd has also served as a Finance Officer and Webmaster/Secretary for the Graduate Student Association, advocating for graduate student needs and improving operational processes. Prior experience includes research in molecular genetics at Illinois State University, serving as a Science Education Volunteer with the Peace Corps, and various support roles in educational settings. A.M. Boyd is pursuing a PhD in Genetics, Genomics, and Bioinformatics at the University of California, Riverside, expected to be completed in 2025, following a Master of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Illinois State University.
